“Talat Noi” in Chinese called “Talakkia”, is an old Chinese community located on the Chao Phraya riverside. This place born from the trade expansion of Sampeng during the early Rattanakosin period and making this area, blend of Thai-Chinese culture together into a perfect difference …

Continue at the shrine of “Zhou Seu Kong (ศาลเจ้าโจวซือกง )”, one of the oldest and most important shrines of the Hokkien Chinese in Thailand. Built in the year 2347, over 200 years old.
Inside is the shrine of “Luang Pu Zhou Seu Kong (หลวงปู่โจวซือกง)” and other gods that Chinese people respect, such as Thi Cux Eiy Shrine, Godfather Guan Yu, Ruby goddess or Chao Mae Thaptim, Tiger God Shrine (Chao Pho Seua) and Thirty-six gods.
Another prominent point is this car. Looks very old, take a picture immediately.

And this is the “So Heng Tai Mansion”, a Chinese edifice in the early Rattanakosin period. Age older than 250 years! Built with Hokkien architecture, currently open as a diving school and mini cafe.

“Geuak Shrine” (ศาลเจ้าโรงเกือก) or “Chao Por Hon Wong Kung Shrine”
(ศาลเจ้าพ่อฮ้อนหว่องกุง) , aged over 120 years!
“Cai Shen” is the god of fortune. Especially during the Chinese New Year, there are a lot of people coming to pay respect to this shrine.

This is “Siam Commercial Bank, Talat Noi branch “is the first office, in the year 1908. The building was built in the style of Western architecture until being regarded as the most beautiful bank in Thailand. Currently, Siam Commercial Bank, this branch is still open as usual.
Beside the bank, there is “Holy Rosary Church (โบสถ์กาลหว่าร์ )” (next to Kularbwitthaya School) is the first Catholic temple in Rattanakosin period. Let’s go inside.
